N Non-Treatable Crack
If a treatable tooth crack is left un-treated, it may eventually become non-treatable.
Non-treatable cracks may also be due to extreme tooth trauma.
This type of crack not only extends from the chewing surface of the tooth but also has vertically migrated down the tooth root. This damages the tooth pulp and in most cases, is too extreme for a root canal to treat.
